Leaving My Fear Behind My Rappelling Adventure Down Toronto’s Westin Harbour Castle
Recently, a friend asked me about when I had rappelled down the Harbour Castle Inn in Toronto. I decided to look up the post and share it here.
So I did this — Rappelled down 29 stories of the Westin Harbour Castle Inn in Toronto.
I broke through HUGE Limiting beliefs and can’t believe I did it. And the crazy thing about it all is that it was easy, especially after working at releasing old programs and learning to settle my body down. If you can do it on this challenge, you can do it when the chaos of life shows up.
I was at a weeklong Dr. Joe Dispenza’s Advanced Retreat, Waking Up in Your Future, an unbelievable experience on many more levels, which is one activity. I will probably share more in the days to come.
This challenging activity aimed to overcome your edge, leave fear behind, and make room for the unknown and possibility.
The second speck on the left in the first picture is me. The slo-mo video shows me landing on the ground. In the next two pictures, my team leader is congratulating me.
The next pictures are from the Westin Restaurant on the 38th floor, where several team members celebrated. You can see the height of the challenge building, the launching stations, and the amazing Toronto views. To be honest, I didn’t look at them on the way down, but I did look sideways and saw a few buildings. The technicians from Over The Edge who coached us were amazing.
We were the second-last team, so we had to settle ourselves all week as we looked at the building from the ground. I didn’t tell anyone that I was going to do it. I had decided I would when Dr. Joe announced it five days before, but I didn’t believe it. Thirty hours of meditation sure helped. (that’s another story)
909 people completed the challenge, setting North American and World Records. You can’t be the same old person after such an experience. Not bad for a 65-year-old grandmother of 8.
